Sometimes you may be very proud of a piece of work but there is no way to share it via the usual peer review journals – for example, if the data set isn’t large enough. On this site, you can publish your work and show the world the varied nature of forensic science research.

If you have a project you would like to share, then please email us your document in either Word or Open Office format.  As guidance please use the following headings in your document:

Introduce the aims of your research and summarise your findings. Charts and graphs are a great way to help communicate findings. Include as much methodology and data as you would like – we understand people may not be willing to share all their secrets ;)

Dr Tom Bassindale Dr Tom Bassindale is a forensic scientist, and the founder of We Are Forensic. He's managed hundreds of forensic toxicology cases, and is an experienced court witness. He has specialist expertise in forensic toxicology and drug testing in sport. Dr B is currently a senior lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. And yes... he watches CSI.
